The monks of the Kiev-Pechersk Lavra, in turn, urged: “It is enough to wander the world! Time moor to the harbor, we know your talents, holidays Laurus will you like to have your child, you will be a pillar of the church and the monastery ornament “.  Happiness is not the writer saw the estates and glory, and living the conscience; by happiness felt self. In addition to books, manuscripts, flute linen sack and stick, nothing more had not even sought to have their own houses and even a permanent home.

Skovoroda taught that nature – the beauty, harmony, and in society – injustice, and to change the macro (environment), you must change each microcosm (ie himself). With this in mind it is closely related to the idea of ”work akin”: acknowledge themselves and improve knowing their inclinations, the person correctly determine their place in society and bring the greatest benefit. And yet many people do not take place, one runs the plow, and he by nature music, another is a judge and he would feed the cattle. The great philosopher argued that a person can not be happy if acts contrary to his nature. The command of nature – a command of God in man. Knowledge of nature – a knowledge of God.

In 72 years the poet passed three hundred foot sections of up to Orel. Where he lived his pupil and friend Michael Kovalynskyy to send him the manuscript of his works. And came back and stopped in the village of Ivanovka, was cheerful, talkative, then went into the garden and the road began to dig a hole. “What are you doing, Gregory?” – Asked in surprise friends. “I dig his own grave, because it’s my time.” When the guests had left, Skovoroda washed, dressed in clean clothes, lay down on a bench and fell asleep … forever.
